I am still pretty dumb when it comes to money here. I have a visa card and want to try and get money out from it. Is this possible? If so where can I get the cash out from because I have tried two atms with no luck. I am seriously low on cash and need some for trains etc

I have never used a visa card... but Im pretty sure you can use those in a lot of ATM machines..

Are u living in Seoul.. If you live near Itaewon you should try the ATM machine in the Itaewon subway station. Im sure I have seen people use their visa cards there especially...

Also try the ATMs that have an English facility... KB banks or Woori banks may be the best for this... You can navigate them easily and I think they have the visa card facility..

My information is not great I think but anyway....I do hope you can get your money soon..

I've used my Visa with KEB (Korea Exchange Bank) machines before without any difficulties.

If you're going to use it, make sure there is a little sign that says "Foreign Card Acceptable" or "Global ATM." These should take your Visa with no problem.
