|
|
Is there a limit to the amount of employers that someone could legally have at the same time?
For example, if Joe's E-2 or E-1 visa was sponsored by Company A, could he also request immigration's permission to work for Company B and Company C as well (assuming that he has the permission from Company A)?
Anyone has any experience positive or negative with that? |

Yeah, I got that right now--Its called a visa "add-on" or visa "extension"...
All I had to do was get my first employer (original sponsor of visa) to write a letter giving me permission to work for another employer...it was really easy, just some simple paperwork (letter, schedule for both jobs, contract etc.)...Just make sure you have the add-on BEFORE YOU START WORKING AT JOB #2!!! I was a few weeks late submitting the paperwork, and so I got fined, the school got fined, but its all ok now...they paid for half the fine... |

Force one, thanks for your response. Are you saying that you now have 2 jobs(positions) or 3?
I am aware of several people who have one additional employer. Trying to determine whether it is possible to have 2 additional emplyers for a total of 3. |

| Yep, it's possible. A teacher at our school is teaching at two different companies as well as teaching at the uni. As long as you or your school inform immigration, it's not a problem. |

| Last year my high school sold me down the river to two middle schools, so I had 3 separate schools on my ARC card at the same time. It's possible. |
