Should England make a change and dump McClaren?
Yes, most definitely.

Maybe, depending on how they do against Andorra.

No, it's not his fault the players are underachieving. Give him more time.

With a winless streak now at five games and a extended scoring drought (1 goal in those five matches) what should England do to make sure they qualify for Euro 2008?

If McClaren is to be replaced, who should get the job?

It's just a classic example of the FA making a mess of things by choosing such an average manager. Allardyce would've been a better choice, or even Venables on his own. Still, I think it's too early - give the guy a chance. Israel away is not an easy game and is certainly not a guaranteed win for any team in the world - the fans do not make it easy. I think the only sensible option now is to get behind him until the end of the qualifying campaign. There's still every chance of qualifying if we can win our remaining games.

I believe in giving managers more time.

So do I,but in this case I think they have to admit he might not be the best person for the job.

The FA listened to the public too much, the public voiced concerns that the FA had previously made a mistake hiring a foreigner. The fact of the matter is that to progress we need a foreign coach as all ours are crap or average at best.

Mclaren is only in the job because he had the best European record after one fluke season with Middlesboro. Curbishley or Allardyce would have been better but they have won nothing. I don't understand why Martin O Neil didn't get the job myself, he did apply.
