I'm planning a trip next weekend to Gyungju/Kyongju/however it's spelt in English and was wondering what was the best way to get there from Seoul. Also, is there a way I can reserve tickets online? |

The best way is to go to the Gangnam Express Bus Terminal (there is a subway station called the Express Bus Terminal; it's line 2 or line 3 I think, in the southeast part of the Seoul subway map) and take an express bus to Gyeongju. The trip takes about 3 hours. There are lots of buses that leave throughout the day. I'm sure you can reserve tickets online, but you may have to understand Korean to do so. I would say just go there and buy tickets (ahead of time if necessary; maybe a day or two before?) Shouldn't be a problem. |

Awesome thanks! I'd like to know the website where I can reserve these tickets too if anybody can help with that. I'll try looking for it on the internet. |

The bus ticket reservation site is all in korean...
http://www.kobus.co.kr/web/index.jsp
however the site does have an english link where you can see the timetables(but no reservation service)
the buses go every 35-50 mins so i am pretty sure a reservation is unnecessary.
I have never needed one for buses when i have travelled...sometimes i have to wait an hour for the next bus but it usually is OK.
it will take longer than 3 hours as well...closer to 4 |

Gyongju, the ancient Silla place? That place is awesome. Make sure you check out the museum and the giant bell. |
