Can my hagwon cancel my E-2 visa while I'm still in the country? I heard you physically have to go to immi with your employer to cancel the visa.

They can terminate your employment and hence your visa simply by informing immigration that you no longer work for them.

You then have 2 weeks to leave the country

OR

file a complaint with the labor board and then apply to immigration to remain in the country while your case is being adjudicated.

You can also leave the country and make an immediate return on a tourist stamp and seek new employment.
