What's wrong with that?

Besides being a bit low on the salary scale, sounds like a typical after school program to me. 4-5 45 min. classes and then you are done with the day. Nice position for a newbie.

It sounds like a very typical after-school programme. Some such jobs have their problems but if you like elementary it's probably better than the average hagwon, and an easier introduction to the public school system for a newbie.

Man, if I could go to school every day at 12 instead of 810 I'd be laughing.

Notice it says minimum salary is 2 mil. With severence and airfare it's than my job. I have 2 more weeks vacation, however, I work the same hours and don't make the extra money. Is 2 weeks vacation worth 4,000,000 won?

Ah, so it is one of those AFTER SCHOOL type positions?

Hmmm.....well..........as long as there teachers stupid enough to take those kind of "public school" positions, then schools won't have to up the pay, vacation, etc. Many of you guys keep preaching about that, but when some shitty offer like this comes around, it is praised.

120 hours a month, for a minumum of 2.0.......at a public school? Area your freakin kidding me? 10 crappy vacation days, at a public school? Are kidding me?

Possibly good for a newibe, yes....I agreee.

But, to each their own.

Cheers.

This is NOT a public school job.

It is a recruiter lying and misrepresenting the position.

It is a hakwon subcontracting to a public school for the after school program.

I would hazard a guess that it is actually with the Global English chain.
They also historically do NOT pay into national medical or pension.

It is NOT a good deal.
