has anyone (or any one) not gotten vaccinations for korea and later regretted it?
how important is it?
the cdc recommends a lot of shots and not everyone has that kind of time/money before departing for korea.
hepatitus (and anything else you can't get rid of) is kind of worrisome.[/i] |

Not sure but it may be wise to get a hepatitis shot.
In korea they take 3 consecutive visits to get, what a performance. I got the first 2 but forgot to go back for the third. hassle... |

Actually, Hep A and Hep B are endemic here.
Hep A you can get from eating a Korean style dinner. It only takes one infected worker to ruin your liver.
To catch Hep B you need more intimate contact. Keep your pec?er in your pants and you will probably be OK.
hmmm.... 20 something testosterone loaded young males.... better get Hep B too.
A tetnus booster just makes sense if you haven't had one since elementary school.
If you are going to be out in a rural area it may be in your best interest to get a shot for Japanese encephalitis as well. Only takes 1 bad mogie to get you.

I didnt, but over the xmas of 2005-6 I was in Cambodia and had all my shots then, so they are all valid.
I cut my finger badly last December and was given a tetanus shot then, I seem to have them every few years. I am rarely sure when I had the last, and there is no harm with tetanus having them frequently, so I just get another. The pain is usually less than what I am being offered it for...
