| On my resume, I indicated that references would be available upon request. I have no teaching experience. My references would be from previous employers. Do interviewers prefer a reference letter or an email address because of the time difference North America and South Korea? I am applying to hagwons with set curriculums because of my lack of teaching experience. How often do hagwons check up on references? I have a few telephone interviews next week. |

Once you have your "interviews" everything will become clear. The hagwons will NOT be asking about your references.
It's more difficult to get a job at McDonald's back home than it is to get tons of job offers here, including at the chain hagwons.
You'll be fine. Don't worry so much. If you are gonna worry, worry about which one to choose, not whether or not they'll choose you. |
