|
|
After a year in Korea I am planning to move to Japan. A lot of the jobs advertised are asking for an EFL cert.
Is it possible to do one of them weekend courses in Seoul?? Have looked into the online courses but they seem to be around 40 hours. Does anyone know of a shorter online course which isn`t too expensive??
Thanks |

I am taking an online course that is based here in Korea. They were offering a 100 hour on line course for only $200. I haven't finished but it is pretty good so far. Their link is:

I am involved with the course the previous post mentioned...KEI-TEFL is completely online and the course they offer is a 100 hour course that can be completed in as little as three to four weeks, and it is 100% online.
Check out the website at http://www.koredinco.com
The program is a one stop program that meets all of the international standards used for providing TEFL training.

I would recommend the CELTA course with the British Council. I done it last Jan-Feb and it was very very good. It was a full time four week course and really developed my teaching skills as well as professionalism.
Btw, the CELTA is recognised internationally and is widely regarded as the most professional certificate to complement your teaching experience. If you are thinking of teaching long-term then this is the qualification for you.
If you have any questions about the course, you can PM me. |

koredinco is an educational institute set up in Korea to provide online TEFL training. The Institute of Online Education is the campus name and the Institute is strictly established as an online program. The Institute is fully licensed and certified by the Korean Government as an educational program to offer TEFL training. The Institute owner/director is Korean, and the Academic Advisor is an American educator. The program provides TEFL instruction using international standards which are common to the majority of training programs.
The 100 Hour certificate program is a self-paced program that is 100% online just as advertised. Check out the program website or an email and someone will be happy to answer your questions.
