|
|
I have one male high school student who, for all skin color appearances and if he closed his eyes and prostrated himself on the ground, would look like a bloated dead corpse, especially so in the face.
His skin looks abnormally pale white and almost light, light green. He looks like a dead person. He doesn't look alive.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? He's not just pale white, he LOOKS like a done-up corpse from a funeral home. I do see him face-to-face in my class, because I call everyone to the front to answer on a microphone. I almost can't stand to look at him, if only because I am instantly reminded of what my teenage friend Melvin looked like in his casket. |

I couldn't do that. That's just mean spirited.
Maybe this has something to do with a deficit of vitamins. |

Talk about a classic case of transference (a la Freud).
Back to your point, I know what you mean. I've seen a few people who had the creepiest skin tone/color. I kind of wonder if the guy might have a heart condition.
For example, I went to this place to look into taking a Korean class. A young woman with a gray silly puddy complexion was the intake person. Her face was perspiring (glowing??) looked like she was in REALLY bad shape. I asked her and she said that she had a weak heart and was in the hospital just previously for quite a while.
Well, I heard the week after that she literally collapsed in the street like a sack of spuds and was tossed into a taxi and rushed to a local hospital and was DOA. She had a massive coronary. Only mid-20s. It kinda put me off studying Korean for a few months. Poor thing.
Now when I see people with a similar color, I REALLY wonder if the kiss of death is under their misletoe. |

Probably some nutrition problem but the parents have completely no idea what the hell it is so they keep on feeding him Ramen and Chajamyung like it's going out of style. His parents are probably feeding crap to him that he can't digest or is allergic to. |

Buy him a facial-piercing kit and some frilly black cloaks and he could be the envy of the Goth set.
"Ooh, I just love what you've done with your skin...it's so corpsey and dead-looking...I gotta spend, like, half my allowance just to look even remotely dead. I wish I had your pallor."
Oh, wait, no, that's a Japan thing. |
