I just don't get it. At my public school the sheer aggressive volume (and tone) of the yelling over the PA system is bizarre. Is there really any need for such noise?

Land of Morning Ca;lm my arse. It starts my day and week off on a very bad note. You'd think we were in Nazi boot camp or something.

Eveytime I hear it, I thinl that with the current infrastructure, making the transition to a communist, media controlled government would be fairly easy.

Blaring PAs and media control would have been much worse in the 80s. It's ironic that what looks to us very much like communism was actually fascism, kept there as a bulwark against communism.
