Not sure if this has been posted in another thread, but it deserves its own topic. One of Cho's former classmates wrote about being in a playwrighting class with Cho, and reposted two of his plays.
I kind of like where Mr Brownstone was going.

from the two one-act plays it's obvious that one can see he had
an Oedipus complex
a problem with authority
obsessed about 'fat' people
obsessed about being rich
listened and appreciated Guns n' Roses album Appetite for Destruction |

In other words he was pis8ed his korean princess was getting it with a black man.
I wonder how long before Korea bans its women from travelling outside the country? Maybe fine them everytime they are seen with a foreigner. |

He doesn't seem to have a total grasp on the English language. Funny considering it was his major and how we keep emphasizing how he had been in the US since the age of 8. You'd think that would be enough time to gain fluency. |

There is no Korean woman among the dead. There is no evidence that this is anything but your fantasy. Have the decency to put a lid on it. |

Very strange in the McBeef play that the step father's lines are in pretty much perfect English but the son's and mother's aren't. |

5. Hey - - - we aren't reading it for correct grammar or English. It is written about his twisted mind. Get focused . . . (

Interesting how nobody seems to be blaming his parents for not sending him to a mental hospital or at least getting some counseling. Koreans usually don't like to see shrinks, but I bet his parents knew there was something very wrong with their child. |

The parents might have been worried that if they sent their son for mental health treatment, it would hurt his chances at attaining citizenship. |

This relates to living in Korea, HOW?

Based on these two plays, I'd say the father definitely knew something was wrong (and why). |

Ummm...Ughhh....Maybe because he is Korean. Just a thought. I live in Korea, he lived in Korea, I see a correlation. Another anal "why is it in this forum" post...
