| I asked a question a few days ago about what the job criteria were for a position to be filled by an E-2 visa holder. Let me get more specific this time. Could I get an E-2 Visa for a job for which I would only work three days a week (MWK 1-7 p.m.). I want to study Korean for a few months and this job would allow plenty of free time to do so. I just want to be sure that I can legally work there. Thanks in advance for your help. |

As long as:
the employer is licenced to legally employ a foreign teacher AND
he is willing to sign as your guarentor AND
you are qualified for an E2,
then yes, you could get an E2 for that job.
You would have to add the student activity to your ARC with an application to modify your status of sojourn. It is Not hard to do. |
