|
|
When I was younger, I had mild asthma which I have apparently "outgrown". My doctor at home usually prescribes bricanyl for me to have on hand, should my breathing feel stressed. I haven't used it in years, but in the past few days (probably due to the yellow dust), I've noticed a tightness in my chest. I can breathe fine normally, but can feel it when I try to take a deeper breath. I guess my question is this; does anyone know if bricanyl inhalers are available in Korea, and if so, what are they called and do I need a prescription? I think a shot or two of that stuff should do the trick for me. Thanks in advance |

you'll probably have to go to the doctor and get a prescription. chances are they have it, tho i've never used it. i thought it'd been superseded by seratide.
if you get desperate, you can definitely order ventolin over the counter. |

You can get ventolin over the counter?!?! You might have just made my day!
SeoulShakin, Bricanyl is a brand name for Terbutaline, you might have more luck with that. |

I have needed a script from a doctor any time I tried to get ventolin here in Korea.
I have heard there was one pharmacy in Itaewon that would sell it over the counter but I have never run into it. |

Years ago you could get Ventolin (and a whole host of other drugs) OTC, but not since they changed the policy about prescription meds about 6-7 years ago.
When I go, I get the doc to give me 5 inhalers / prescription...saves going back to the doc every other month for a refill... |

i can assure you, you cannot LEGALLY buy ventolin over the counter here...
You need a doctor's prescription which isn't difficult to get.... |
