|
|
Thought I would share some information with you. I have finally found top quality (pharmaceutical grade)vitamins in Korea, available without a prescription. USANA has been in Korea for 3 years now, I think it is. You can order product from a toll-free phone number, with people who speak English. I ordered on Friday, and it arrived Saturday. I am so happy that I finally found vitamins I can trust. So many brands use synthetic vitamins (which have been shown in some studies, to be ineffective, or even harmful), or the pill doesn't contain what the label says. Living abroad, and not speaking the language well enough, has made it hard to keep up with my nutritional goals. But now...I can get what I need within just a couple of days!
If you haven't heard of USANA, they are a leading nutritional supplements company. They have a wide range of vitamins, antioxidants, a separate multi-mineral, low glycemic food products, fibre supplement drinks, soy protein powder, as well as skin care products that are paraben free (parabens are preservatives that have been found in breast cancer tumours). The Sense skin care line (face and bath products) has a shelf life of 2 years, as do the mainstream products - but without any preservatives added.
"USANA has determined the importance of Sense demands that USANA assume strict control over product manufacturing. As well, that the Sense skincare-product manufacturing be brought into conformance with pharmaceutical grade Good Manufacturing Practices. Designing its facility from the ground up, USANA took the first critical step towards this end by constructing a unique, highly technical environment featuring non-shedding walls, inert ceiling tiles and a positive air pressure environment; all to insure product integrity," written by Glen Putnam, John McDonald, PhD, & John Garruto.
A couple more interesting bits of info:
-in an independent analysis of thousands of well-known supplements, USANA scored very high. 96.1%. Centrum, for example, scored 5.2%. Nature's Sunshine Super Supplement without Iraon; 28.6%. Herbalife, Formula 2; 14.8%
-the company is on Forbes list of Best Small Businesses, #5
-the way they process the fish oils removes heavy metals, such as Mercury
-when you register as a Preferred Customer, you get a cheaper rate than retail prices, but there is no minimum purchase/month required
-excellent customer service - you can email questions through their website about the product and you'll get an answer within a couple of days. (The site is American, so no language barrier. There is a Korean site too of course).
-it is a US company that operates internationally (UK, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and more)
If you want to register as a Preferred Customer, or have any other questions, send me an email and I will help you. I am registered as an Associate with the company. |

They're not a hoax. I have taken many courses on nutrition and health at University. I have spoken with GPs and Naturopathic doctors. I have read scientific journal articles about vitamins.
What I said in my post is that the synthetic vitamins can be useless, or harmful.
I do eat well. I have entered my diet into software that computes what vitamins and minerals I am getting, and even with eating well, certain things are lacking. |

What's "an associate" mean? "an employee"? |

An associate is someone who can sign up Preferred Customers. Not technically an employee of the company. |

The Earth is flat. I took courses from professors who claimed this. I talked to experts on the nature of the earth and they told me this. i have read scientific journal articles about the flatness of the Earth. Therefore, it must be true that the Earth is in fact flat.
Believe what you will. Oh yeah, and naturopathic doctors--they're a hoax, too. |

I am not going to argue with you. One thing I dislike about Dave's is that many people feel the need to insult and belittle other people. You have your opinion, I have mine. From what I see of your immature postings, I have little value for yours.
If anyone has REAL questions or comments, they are always welcome. |

That's an interesting way of not saying that you're a "sales associate". |

Yep.
Something is lacking for sure. |
