As I was doing a bit of travelling after my Korea sojurn, I sent most of my stuff by surface to New Zealand. I lived near Seoul so the boxes went to Busan and then to Kobe before going to New Zealand. After such a long journey, the box wasn't in very good condition (one of the sides split) and it took two months Shocked

One box down seven more to go Evil or Very Mad

Yeah, the boxes def get knocked around a bit. When I went home last year, I sent my books via surface (bit of a mistake). They weren't tied down, so a couple of them get bent up. I also sent clothes via surface, and that was pretty good, except for the reek of mothballs that permeated them (and took a few washes to get out).

I'd extend a lot more trust to KoreaPost than I would NZ,Aussie or England.

They're cheap and efficient,Where problems arise it's typically at the other end and 10% of stuff goes missing.

Case in point.I sent a Xmas parcel to England and I had to pay a further 20K to pick it up again. No mistake with the address, the England-end didn't tick any box(like nobody home, address doesn't exist etc)he just didn't deliver it so it was sent back to me!!!

Even signed his incompetence.

OZPost,2 stories.

1,A registered letter was gonna cost 35 bucks.Just an envelope, and would still take 3-4 days.

2,Went with the wife to send a parcel to Korea, guy in the shop says"Errrrrr...is that south or north?"North.bomb for Pyongyang,Kim Jong Il.Express please.Farckkkkk........there's no post code for NK!!!

NZ,typically just leave stuff on the doorstep to discharge their responsibilities.True of all 3 countries though I guess.

When you say surface, don't forget it's still going by air. Just it's the first stuff to get off loaded if the plane's full
