| Ive been offered a job teachimg in yeong gwang gun Ive struck a problem with my police report from nz. under the clean slate act they wipe minor offences.. i did receive a full report (but supplied the sheet saying i had no offences under the clean slate act) the only offence is for careless driving in 1986..is it safe to supply this info..will it destroy my prospects ..they say i can supply it when i arrive.. |

You're worried that you might not get a job in Korea because of a previous careless driving offense?
They'll probably make you a drive instructor. |

Don't stress, I'm here and working and I got a careless driving charge in 1999 (ooh taking a curve in newly slick roading conditions a bit too quick for the road conditions). It's clean slate in NZ too, but because you're dealing internationally you have to supply all charges. It won't stand against, you, don't worry.  |

| don't worry about it. i was concerned about mine but i ended up working for a hagwon (one of the good ones) and no one asked for it and i had no problem getting my visa etc. |
