| Assuming the Kor-US FTA gets approved, does anyone think it will create more jobs for native English speakers who can speak Korean? |

| I my mind, there's pretty much no doubt that it would. Increased trade, increased cooperation, increased need for bilingual people. The question is how large these increases will be. |

If you live in the US then it might be an importent qualification you have but you'll need others(business knowledge). If you live in Korea I don't think there will be many opportunities unless you're familiar with Korean customs and socialising...then again you will probably have other job responsibilities.
My co-teacher used to have a job as translater so I might ask her. You got to remember that a lot of Korean business men speak good English. |
