When I came over i left my Imac at home and after being here a year have given it away and just bought a macbook
so now i basically want to get my music off the ipod and onto itunes in the new mac
Can anyone tell me which software is best for this?

I think the name of the program I used was irip (maybe ipodrip...something like that).
It was brilliant but I can't tell you anything about it. |

After you have your music off your iPod, if you want to avoid this problem in the future and arent all the thrilled with iTunes, you could look at installing Rockbox onto your iPod.
Rockbox is alternate firmware, open source and free, and offers many music playing extras.
It will also allow you to drag and drop music on and off your iPod from and onto any computer.
