I am hoping to go to Beijing in June. Had originally considered going with one of Korean Herald's trips, but have since changed my mind.
I've been quoted 716won for flights & 4 nights 2.5* accomodation.
Does this seem reasonable?
I know I could get cheaper flights via Korean travel websites, but I'm only a Korean beginner, so doubt I'd succeed.
Anyone any tips?

www.koreanair.com has some cheap fares, particularly of the "last minute" variety.

Airfare + Visa + Cheap hostel --- **could** be done for under 500,000 won return, although June is a peak time of year and prices are high.

Some of the lesser known Chinese cities, such as Qingdao, can be done for even less.
