Practically brand new; bought it about a month ago.
I do honestly love the camera, but I recently started editing video again, and prefer to get a new digital camcorder.
It comes with a UV filter (to protect the lense)
-18-55 lens
-4gig SD card
-wireless remote control
-two extra batteries (for my planned trips)
-bag, standard cleaning stuff
Please let me know if you have any serious offers for all of this equipment.
The camera and lens alone cost me about 550,000 new.

Nikon D40 kit: $530 at Yongsan.
Wireless remote: $20
4gig Sd Card: $35
Extra Battery: $30
Bag : $20
Total: $635
Knock $85 off because it's a month old. I assume the warranty is still in effect. Great deal. I own the D40 and love it. The remote kicks @ss. |

bah! i can get you a D40 body only for $430. i can get it you a kit for $480.
but i agree that the D40 is a great camera ... you'd wanna sell it soon though ... once the D40x is widely available (it's already been released) the value of your gear will drop.
this would be a great camera for someone interested in learning the DSLR way of life.
i hope you sell it!  |

and 480 for the kit? damn! >_<
Yeah, the D40 is really nice, but I really want to do video now :p
