I am unfamiliar with Seoul's layout but would like to learn more about it. I keep hearing about Anyang, Hongdae, Itaewon, but have no idea how they relate to each other on a map.

Since I'm researching teaching in Korea and considering Seoul it would be helpful to get an idea of the various locations.

You should buy the Lonely Planet Korea and the Lonely Planet Seoul book. They have maps.
