Anyone plan on going to any games at the Mokdong ice rink this weekend?

I went to the tournament a few years back when I was living Mokdong. The hockey was pretty bad but it was still fun to watch. Highlight of the tournament was when Mexico actually scored a goal!
Anyway I see North Korea dropped out of the tournament. (wusses) |

Korean defeats Australia and Israel to win the tournament. They are promoted to the 2008 IIHF World Championship Division I

| Australia was the only one who actually came close to beating Korea.. not much competition for them really.. NK got relegated to Division 3 (they didn't come because it was the Great Leaders b'day). Korea would've eventually got it as the top team (the teams that kept beating Korea) eventually were promoted to group 1. Their Under 18 and Under 20 teams are still in Division 2.. Lithuiana seems be their main enemy in those age groups.. |
