Sorry if there was a thread on this. The search function was bunktion when I tried it.

I watched it yesterday on tvlinks for the first time and I actually have some opinions on it:

1) Sorry but I think that Jeon Ji Hyun is pretty hot...well, kinda hot....something very inspiring in her face (if nothing else)

2) What a relief to see a romantic comedy where everyone doesn't DIE at the end

3) A pretty good love story with some interesting scenes. It wasn't a movie to rave about for years to come but, as romantic comedies go here in korea, I enjoyed it.

4) Why can we see a dude's bare ace but no girls'?

5) As I was watching it, I liked the little twist of him making a movie and selling it to the company that released My Sassy Girl. But after I thought about it, it seemed that it was completely unnecessary and prolly some kinda scene that was put into the movie by the producers or something like that.

6) Cute and fairly well written. Dare I say I liked it?

7) The problem with the one of the last lines "I don't have to go now"...I couldn't understand whether he meant "I don't have to go...NOW" (ie..now that I see you here); or "I don't have to go NOW" (ie...not RIGHT now).

cute enough.

you like?

There was some discussion of this movie on the thread "Intriguing Korean Movies" so I'm going to cheat a bit, and ask "What is this link all about?" I recognized 전지현 and thought her facial expressions were pretty amusing. I'm just not sure why it's "news." She seems to have gained some weight, but the comments by Koreans seem positive anyway (as far as I can tell.)

As Corporal will point out, she has lovely child-bearing hips in some adverts.

That is relative. She stands out because most Korean women actor/singers etc. have no hips at all. Have her walk down the street of a western country and her hips suddenly look so wide.

Hey Khyber,

Saw the movie when I'd just arrived here the first time .... with no subtitles .... I now own it on dvd (with subtitles) and still love it. I've always assumed that he means he doesn't need to go to England anymore ... since the love of his life is now back in the picture.

If you like this one you'll probably like "Windstruck", too.

Matt

I don't mind the odd romantic comedy, but if ANYBODY likes WINDSTRUCK..... they have serious, serious problems. S.E.R.I.O.U.S

The movie is based on an actual blog that some guy wrote about his weird girlfriend, so the scene of him selling his movie to the company actually happened: it's a real explanation of how this movie came to be made.
