So yeah I have a mandatory 1 week vacation in may and I'm thinking about going somewhere. I think I can only afford about a million won including airfare to go somewhere for a week......

any ideas??

I was thinking phillipines?

or indonesia??

what about:
*Hong Kong

*Taiwan(tarako gorge is meant to be pretty awesome)

*Guam

*China(shanghai, beijing seems a bit yellow at present)

*Vietnam

Always plenty of places to go

Doubt it. People who say they have "done" a place usually mean they have seen a small fraction and act like they know it all. A pet peeve.

Have you done Korea by living in Seoul and making one trip to Busan and Jeju? I've met a few who think so.

Since you have a budget, why don't you email a bunch of travel agents and see where you can go on the cheap. That might be the deciding factor for you.

sorry I guess I should have said " I have already been to both japan twice and thailand for a month and I would like to spend my week that I have in a different location in asia and see as much as I can while I am here...."

anyways... yeah

I guess that's a good diea to go to a travel agent and tell them my budget etc etc etc...
