Anyone been to Rayong Province in Thailand? I know very little about it because all the travel books are pretty much useless, regarding this area.
Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Went there once. If you go outside the resorts, theres not that much to do. And offcourse, staying in a resort is quite boring too! But there are some nice islands in the area, and the city life is quite authentic as opposed to other areas in Thailand. But all in all a bit too worn down and out of the action for me... |

Actually, for a beach so close to Bangers it's stayed really provincial, clean and not at all crowded. The area along the shore is really quite beautiful w/ many old stand forests along the road. I go often when I'm down Bangers way. Go to the seafood market and load up on my favorites, park in one of the many well shaded areas along the shore and have a nice barbecue... |
