I'm leaving for Korea in a few months. I'd like to buy an inexpensive camcorder to use there, just something that takes SD cards or something. Should I get one here in the states or should I wait till I get there to buy?

I have a DSLR- it doesn't have movie mode, so I'm out of luck there.
