Anybody been to the new bar in Omokgyo? I went to this place last night and it is owned by a foreigner. Just opened this week. I guess he had enough of teaching.

Anyways, it's called Beer O'Clock and it is right across from Hyundai department store. From what he said, he is planning on serving western breakfasts and food and also playing sports (I don't know if he means live). All in all, a cool place and I am definitely going back for the grand opening party on Saturday.

Which exit would one take from Omokyo Station to get to the pub?

Exit 3 I think. Go straight, turn left at the main road, and go for about 50 metres, it's on the left right at the main corner of Hyundai Department store.

Well, I think it is open everynight, but the grand opening party, or whatever it is, is in Saturday this week.

Only about a 10 minute drive from where I live. Looks like it opened just in time for me to move away, too. I'll check it out before I skedaddle though.

I will be there for Saturday night. I have known the owner for a few years now. One of the best guys that you will meet. So if you don't know him, go there when you have the chance and you will meet a guy who truly appreciates your business. Good luck Trevor, and whenever I am in Seoul I will be sure to drop in for a pint.

That's a great price for a pint of foreign draft beer. Why didn't I have that when I was there!?!

Yeah went there a few days and the sam miguel at 4 scooby bucks was nice. i heard they may be getting some hoegaardden on tap too. it's small but it has that distinctive 'cheers' feeling to it.
the cat who owns it is a staright up from what i can tell. there's an automated dart board in there too.
