over some sailors being picked up and held for a while... ad one of them made to use a scarf on her head... (Egad!)

Where is all the outrage at the kidnapping and torture of a diplomat? Oh, wait, he's Iranian and the perps are... Americans.

Guess it's OK, then.

I've no love for Iranians. Haven't much of an opinion at all, really. But I care deeply for the rule of law in **my** country. I want it back.

Why are you accepting Tehran's claims at face value? Are you fully aware of the source of the information you just posted?

And you accuse others of being on Exxon's payroll...? ROFL.

Americans are as susceptible to their national media propoganda, as the iranians are. Rolling Eyes

Only difference is that their ignorance is more damaging to the world so far.

I trust the Red Cross... And you're an idiot. Am I being paid by anyone to distort science or facts? If you're going to make an analogy, boy, do it right. Further, his kidnapping was reason enough for outrage. Diplomats have immunity. If they DO engage in espionage (and he may well have been, but that is not the issue), there are protocols. Kidnapping is not one of them.

But you can't bother with the topic: the rule of law and the hypocrisy of yourself and so many others. Wimp. Stuff your straw men and ad hominems up your ass.

Oh, and quit whining to the mods about your own mistakes...

Iran is probably using its diplomats to assist in attacks on US forces.

The ideals of Khomeni are sinister. Anyone who works for the goals of Khomenism is engaging that is sinster.

Almost anything done against Khomenism is ok.

No comparsion.

You did not cite the Red Cross. You cited the Iranian govt's paraphrasing the Red Cross.

Show me the Red Cross's press release and let us compare the two.
