| I love Jpop, it's awesome to jam to. My favorite is Ayumi Hamasaki followed by Utada Hikaru and Nami Tamaki. Anybody else into Jpop? |

I like Hamasaki, too, but wouldn't categorize her as J-pop, more J-techno. d-power, Passion Rouge, and one or two songs by Morning Musume are okay, maybe X-Japan, too. |

No, her original stuff is definately J-pop. I think you are referring to the techno remixes which are awesome in their own right. |

I've only listened to the re-mixes then. Nothing I have of her is pop. |

| I can think of two funny hagwon names - English mou mou (makes me think of cows taking lessons) and Toss English (makes you thinking of throwing something or throwing something away). Where do these people come up with those names? |

| I like looking at the lady singers, but their music can remain on mute. |

| Namie Amuro is the *beep*. She is *so* sexy. J-pop in general is so absurd that it's absolutely terrific. Especially with all the high pitched, gasping voices. They really pull it off. |

| Oh, and Gackt, the 1000 year old androgynous alien, is pretty cool too. Watch his interviews on "Utaban" (I think they can be found on youtube) |

| Puffy Ami Yumi. I'm especially hip to their tune "Planet Tokyo". |
