I got an ESL job in Korea in June of 2006. The school closed down in November of 2006. They flew me home. They did not give me any letter stating why I left; at the same time they wouldn't have filed a complaint with the government since it was their fault.
If I want to return now, and work at another school, will I be allowed? Is there anything I need to know? I still have my 1 year visa from Japan. |

If the school closed down then your visa will be cancelled. You should be able to come back in on a tourist visa, find a job, then go to Japan and get a new work visa. Alternatively if there is a Korean consulate nearby you should be able to get a visa there. |
