how much of a pension contribution do you make each month? My salary is W2.33 mil / month and i pay W120,000 per month towards my pension. Doesn't that seem high? |

If that is your GROSS salary, yes, it is high.
For your bracket the pension contribution is 108,000 won. |

If your school is matching, then you are benefiting. Keep quiet about it.

ttonpatz is right. The same thing happened to me and when I checked with the pension office it turned out my boss had only reported my income as a little over half of what it was. He was taking the full amount out of my pay so he wouldn't have to contribute. You should give the pension office a call and check what your salary is being reported as. |
