Guess who the members of PNAC are. And guess who this think tank
intimidates, directs or forces into doing its bidding.

If you guessed the members as being
Jeb Bush, Dick Chaney, Paul Wolfowitz, and Don Rumsfeld you are correct.

If you also guessed NATO you are a winner!

Quote:
Our aim is to remind Americans of these lessons and to draw their consequences for today. Here are four consequences:

 we need to increase defense spending significantly if we are to carry out our global
responsibilities today and modernize our armed forces for the future;

 we need to strengthen our ties to democratic allies and to challenge regimes hostile to our interests and values;

 we need to promote the cause of political and economic freedom abroad;

 we need to accept responsibility for America's unique role in preserving and extending an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity, and our principles.

Such a Reaganite policy of military strength and moral clarity may not be fashionable today. But it is necessary if the United States is to build on the successes of this past century and to ensure our security and our greatness in the next.

Old news, but worth repeating. And it goes back further. Cheney and Rumsfeld were part of Plan B, the distorters who scared the country into believing the Soviet Union was a big, bad monster. A since-discredited claim. This was in the 70's.

Might as well mention again their request for a "new Pearl Harbor" since it was so graciously given them... or taken. And make sure we don't forget it was Rumsfeld personally running the military on 9/11 - something that had never happened before, but set up some months earlier - who never got a plane anywhere near any of the four airliners.

Etc.

The Soviet Union was out to get the US.

Anyway the PNAC wants to put the US in the best strategic postion possible. What is wrong with that? Indeed most nations in the world are trying to do as much.

As most of the "free world" recognizes central 9/11 conspirators.

Best position on the grand chess board, eh?

Well, they got their Pearl Harbor. What's "wrong" with that?
