Downloaded and burned an NTSC game and my XBOX360 says it's coded for the wrong region.
PAL for Korea? |

PAL and NTSC are video signals and not region encoding.
Korean 360 can't play US games and vice versa if the games are region locked. Some US games are NOT region locked. |

Exactly, you have to either download a game that is:
a) region free (in this case it can be NTSC or PAL as it'll work)
b) NTSC-J (if you bought it here like I did mine you have these two choices)
So far I can say that I'm happy with what I've been able to get. Off the top of my head region free games that I own:
a) Gears of War
b) Virtual Tennis 3
c) Ghost Recon Advanced Warrior 2
d) Crackdown
e) Fear
f) Lost Planet
g) Far Cry Instincts
And games that I couldn't find I bought which really wasn't that bad:
Perfect Dark Zero
Nhl 2007
Elder Scrolls Oblivion |

Do you buy your games at Yongsan? How much do you pay for each game? |

| I paid 32 000 won for NHL 2007, 28 000 won for Elder Scrolls, and 20 000 won for Perfect Dark Zero. Personally I was surprised as I thought they would be all be around 50 000 won or more because back in North America that's what you'd be looking at. NHL took some looking around as it's not that common but man an awesome game due to the innovoation of shoothing with the right analog stick, truly awesome! |

Yeah, I agree the prices for retail xbox 360 games are pretty good compared to back home. |
