Hello
I have a desktop at my home (using the PC at work at the mo) and have just started having some trouble with it. Thus, I decided to reinstall Windows XP. However, when I reinstalled it I noticed that it installed halfway through and stops the installation process.
Now, Windows XP will not load up and my hard drive has some issues (cluster problems etc). How do I reformat my hard drive within DOS Prompt and reinstall windows xp? I have a DVD Reinstallation Bootable thingy and have been trying to get some results with that but so far it hasn't helped.
Any suggestions to get my PC working again will be great. |

Thank you for the PM's that people sent me. I spent a few hours last night sorting out my HD and managed to format the HD eventually and reinstall Windows XP. However, the HD is partitioned to 2 drives one is a FAT32 (C drive) recovery drive and the other is the normal HD (D drive).
How do I merge both drives into the C drive and sort the PC out now? |
