Have you learned to write in paragraphs in English yet?

They are also good.

Most people find reading paragraphs easier.

You could also try searching the forums for other threads about learning Korean.

Hell there's a sticking in the FAQ titled Learning Korean to get you started.

Have a good day.

Hope you can improve your English writing skills too.

They might come in handy when you are teaching your students.

A more important question needs answering here:

"Why Arthur Fowler?"

what is the need for such sarcasm? we don't use the forum as a means to dazzle each other with our english language skills. can someone not ask a question without their post being picked apart?

sarcasm is fun. And if newbs such as yourself and the OP would take the time to look around a bit, they may be able to find the answer to their question without posting - or posting in a thread that's already started.

It's not like we don't get a learning Korean thread every 17 hours on this board.

sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.
besides, if you have so much wisdom to offer, why waste your time on a thread that apparently comes up every 17 hours?

Not sure where to purchase them but here's a big list of textbooks:

for the same reason that people here complain about the various things Koreans do; it's bloody annoying.

Sarcasm may be the lowest form of wit, but it seems to have you all riled up.

I, for one, appreciate your superb wit and skill with sarcasm. You're a useful contributor and kind to show the newbs the error of their ways.

it's not so much showing the error of their ways (though it is that in part) but rather showing them where they've failed to use common sense.

I went to YBM in December of '05 and it was by far the worst course I have ever taken, even compared to my college courses. The teacher barely allowed the students to speak and we spent most of the time filling out worksheets. I quit after 2 weeks because it wasn't worth my time travelling 2 hours round trip from Bundang. I sent an email to the teacher giving her suggestions for the class and explaining my frustrations, but she never responded.

You're a 24/7 educator!

Oh, by the way, the "i" should be capitalized.
