| I took my degree 10 years ago and over the the year have managed to obtain my transcripts which have stamped on them ISSUED TO STUDENT will these be o.k to show for visa ? or do i need to contact my uni and have them issued again if i can ? |

As far as I know, the transcripts need to be in a sealed envelope either your university's embossed seal or your registrar's signature across the flap. If this is what you have, then you're golden.

| I recieved a copy some years ago with a new copy of my degree ! Not in sealed envelope, just says on it ISSUED TO STUDENT ?? |

Those will NOT be accepted.
Immigration requires transcripts to be in a university sealed envelope.
These are often called "official transcripts" or "Sealed transcripts".

Anything else will result in a rejected visa application. |

My university-sealed envelopes actually contain transcripts inside that say "issued to student" since they were indeed mailed to me at my request.
They still work. |
