I expect reviews. More (?) now, or then?

Looks pretty mild to me, but maybe there are those folks missing the more simple, wholesome Dave's experience of yesteryear.

Old-timers welcome to chime in...

I reserve my comments until others reply because I am a follower. Is that okay?

Nice, looks like this place was decent a while ago, that is, before losers came on and began making fun of people and handing out backhanded comments freely as if it were candy to a child. I swear one would think people come on here with the intent of making fun of someone or picking a fight after reading some of the dribble that falls from people's lips onto this message board.

I mean, look at the old page..you don't see threads like: sex in Korea, or Vibrators, or are korean women general angry, or ....

that isnt the first page from daves. The old daves had an entirly differant format. The site was not indexed like that and the threads went down in the screen in a line. You could see all the responses stacked on top of each other.
This is from the first days of the new, and not neccasarily improved, Daves.

Definitely a different vibe back then. Wilder yeah (are any of Seoultrader's posts still around?!), but more banter and less jaded, I think. I suppose the Dave's get togethers were such a big thing and it's harder to really trash someone online after you've met them face to face.

Interesting point.

Does anyone think the get-togethers served to make Dave's a little more boring?

Also, in that page from 2003, I noticed that Dave actually posted!! I can't understand why he doesn't post here anymore. Laughing

Dave, do you know where I can get cotton bedsheets in Korea?
