In Korea I prefer the instant u-dong to ramyeon.
Anyway, just among the different types of ramyeon, I prefer the Vietnamese ramyeon I could get from back home.
It's not so much the taste, I guess. But it just reminds me of the good times with my friend and the tasty food occasionally cooked by my good friend who was born in Vietnam but immigrated. |

as yet I've never eaten ramyeon in a restaurant in Korea, only eaten the instant shit. I am soooooo missing Japanese ramen - both the instant kind and restaurant kind, can't beat eat. |

I found one great kind of ramyun once that I haven't been able to locate again. It's a kimchi flavour, but rather than a powder it comes with a pack of actual kimchi. |

the spicy red packaged ones ...
then dump a can of hot pepper tuna on it, mix, and mmmmmmmmm
puts my childhood dried instant Lipton chicken noodle soups to shame as an afterschool slurpy hot meal |

I find them very samey and boring. British is best. Nicest instant noodle snack I've ever had was the 'Posh Noodle'.....

ramen noodles.
I like SamYang Ramyun with a thing of cheese or Champaghetti, a jajangmyun flavored ramyun.
Mushrooms in ramyun is really good. All that carb though. |
