Does anyone know of a computer shop that can speak English? I need to get the ol' laptop fixed and would prefer to deal with someone who can speak English-ee. I live in northern Seoul but will travel if it means getting this bad boy back in shape again.

Thanks.

Johnny Computer in Itaewon. It's located in the alley directly behind Kraze Burger. He speaks excellent English, but not sure about his repair prices.

I used to think he was a bit expensive for some accessories, but I've purchased an excellent webcam and router for him just 40,000 and 50,000 won respectively.

He's not a bit expensive anymore, he has graduated into the massively expensive genre...seriously, 40,000 and I could hire a film crew.

Welcome to tfunk, our latest troll.

That's two threads you've pooped on in a weird sort of way.

We should get together and setup shop called "Undercutter's Computer" and our slogan would be "Beat johnny's prices by 10%."

The guy isn't that bad on price (depends on what you buy) for a small shop. Gee... the guy has to earn a living. He offers a service most Korean shops don't -- he speaks English. His location is also convenient for people who don't know how to navigate the horrible layout of Youngsan.

With that said, there are a lot of things I'd buy somewhere else, due to price.

Which alley in Itaewon? Where is Kraze Burger?
