I won't tell you, but it involved this car and a near lethal dose of alcohol.

(Don't worry, we didn't drive it--we found it)

It was an abandoned car. The windshield was already smashed when we got there.

I didn't call you an idiot.

Oh yeah, definitely implied it. I think that statement could be applied to everyone though.

Four years ago I was in Thailand between Korean hagwon jobs and, during two months there, started smoking cigarettes again, since smokes were so cheap and I was loafing all day, anyway. When my two months were up and it was time to head back to Korea and hagwoning I quit smoking, to get off the langorous nicotene feed and into a higher energy state to meet the hagwon hellers/students. The fast track to quitting cold turkey were the red box nicotene patches. I didn't bother to read the directions, since I was so smart, and slapped on the patch equivalent of the amount I'd been getting per day in cigarettes, which, by my calculations, was five patches (actually, as you know, you're only supposed to put on one). I may also have been chewing Nicorette nicotene gum, which was why, the day the plane landed back in Korea, I was on the bus from Inchon airport to Seoul in a cold sweat with the sensation of invisible army ants crawling all over my body, a serious gutache/head spinning sensation, and premonitions of doom.

I'm not retarded, I'm Special. And I have a very nice helmet.

Stupidest thing I ever did in Korea was, luckily, something I got away with.

YOu ever see those hydrogen filled balloons floating in the air.
One day we had a party and there were two of those babied next to my friends house.

We decided to steal some and then went looking for more.

I've only been here a month, but the stupid things I've done are numerous, and usually involved trying to hush the upstairs hostess hookers and their jealous boyfriends.
a sampling:
screaming very nasty things in italian at 4AM (exercised)
doing a very convincing exorcist demon impression at 4AM (worked)
squealing on the penny-whistle at 4AM (jammed!)
accidentally calling the cops at 4AM (did and didn't work: hookers and friends continued offensive noise making, which may or may not have included domestic violence. cops did not come. I did not go to prison)
rocking very heavy charles mingus at 4AM (scared me)

got away with all; maybe doesn't say much.
smartest thing?

leaving hooker haven for steeper climbs.
For those who wish to know: london apartments in yeoksam is to be avoided, unless you are equipped with voodoo herbs or special sanity saving earplugs.

May the power of chirst compel you.
