Uncooked ramien noodles. Some people eat it like that back home, too. Why the hell would they eat that? It's probably really bad for you, but I think they even have it packaged for that purpose as a treat for kids. Since adults here sometimes say that I shouldn't be eating ramien with the hot water from the spring water machine, you'd think they'd get their kids to not eat that.

And cold donkas. Why the hell do those cheapos at these outside of schools supermarkets sell it cold. The kids still eat it, but I'm pretty sure old, cold pork isn't going to do your body any wonders. Fkn hate it. Hot is good. On a stick.

One of my kids was saying that when he goes to the beach he likes to eat jellyfish straight from the water. Apparently you can tell the edible ones because they have markings that resemble a pig on their back.

Fried? Isn't it just uncooked pasta. Like eating unboiled spaghetti noodles?

Learn something new every day.

Yeah, I'm pretty open minded and will eat anything without much hesitation. But things like worms, slime, creatures of the underworld, vermin, or things resembling parasites are just unclean and I doubt even worthwhile in the health department. I mean seriously... eating a handful of boiled worms?? When you've got other better options like kimbap or French fries to consider? You can do it, but that doesn't mean it's to be done...

Love is lovely. Eating is lovely too.

The rats would work to draw the worst out of every situation... like some kids eating ramen and cold meat. Awesome Razz

Raw ramen is awesome. Especially as a snack. You just break it up, sprinkle some of the soup base in the bag, shake it up and you are good to go.

Ramen is fried. I know people that will cook the broth and the ramen separately so that they can minimize the amount of grease that gets released from the ramen as it cooks.

Seriously and probably dangerously sour candy.

Some nice little kid pulled off a piece of this red stuff and shoved it towards my face. Looked like bubblegum so I popped it in my mouth, forgetting we are protected by stringent candy-laws back home. I spent the next 15 mins gushing saliva and wiping tears from my face.

Forget sour skittles - you've tasted nothing.

I tried to get revenge with some hot cinnamon lozenges today. After initial hesitation I was rounded on for more. Now I have 2 left. Hmmph.

When I first got here, a student offered me some chips - FISH-flavored chips. No Thanks! I was at Buy the Way once, and I saw chocolate-flavored squid chips. That's even more disgusting.
