You have all read - and at the time of writing there are currently 38 pages of posts on the St Andrews Hakwon thread. There are three pages of posts on "Honest article about hagwon crimes against teachers."

You obviously feel strongly about these issues, and so you should. So please help the editors and reporters who try to bring these issues to a wider, mainstream audience.

Your "letters to the editor" commenting on published articles help keep these issues on the printed page and in the wider, mainstream, public eye.

And when the print media publish an article that you feel is offensive to your community, let them know about that too.

You have it in your hands, or rather at your fingertips, to either reinforce negative perceptions of the ESL/EFL community, or to make a contribution to positive change.

More Korean decision and policy makers, more foreign diplomatic missions and companies read the English language mainstream media (and its frequent translations into Korean) than read posts on this, or similar forums.

You figure it out.
