Someone I know got an offer to teach there? What can you say about the place? Are there enough foreigners there? How close is it to Seoul?
Thanks... |

Boon & docks
Rode my bike through the area when I wanted some psuedo-quiet rides. Foreigners? Meh, can't be more than a baker's dozen...though, I never had the desire to hang out there and find out.
However, Soonchunhyang University (in Asan) is the closest (probably) university <wait...no...there's a po-dunk college in Yesan too> there and they boast some obscene number of non-Koreans/native English speaking ferners...so I s'pose some fun can be had on the weekends.
There are several posters from that uni that lurk here...maybe they'll chime in.
!shoosh,

It's around 2 hours (maybe slightly less) from Seoul by train, I think. |
