My boyfriend went to a clinic to get Wellbutrin to quit smoking. He got a prescription for "Wellbutrin SR 150 mg", and this is what is written on the sheet we gave to the pharmacist.
So we get the pill, and it looks nothing like Wellbutrin Sr. I used to take it, and also, we looked on medical websites for pill identification.
Could the pill just be a Korean equivalent to the pill I am familiar with in the states?
They also gave him a 7 day supply and told him to come back. Is this just a ploy to get him to pay more money? When will he receive a proper month prescription, if ever?
I just don't want him to take it until we know what it is.
Thanks! |

A couple of possibilities:
Its a generic equivalent
The pharmacist has no clue
The doctor has no clue
All of the above
Chances of getting a proper length prescription: ZERO!
They never give you enough here. I've never been able to get more than 3 days of antiobioitics even though your doctor at home always tells you to take at least 10 days ,even if you feel better. I was able to get 30 days of allergy meds, but that was after being very pushy and demanding to the doctor.
Your boyfriend could always go back to the doc and say "waht the hell is this?". Then demand 30 days. Good luck on him quitting! |
