To everyone here who is pi$$ed at the States and their gun control or Korea and how the should say sorry.....enough!

Do you say sorry for your government policies? Do you say sorry for other people's actions? NO YOU DON'T! Anyone from any nationality in most countries in this world can get their hands on a gun and go postal if they so choose. Don't be such a d!ck by blaming it on a nation or society....it was an individual!

This forum in the last 24 hours has reached a new low for some people here..."this should be in the Off Topic Room"...."This is America's fault" ......"Koreans are going to get their's now!" Simply selfish moronic thinking....people are dead and families are grieving. Get a perspective and call your folks.
Enough said.

I hate how the coverage is going on this. "We should blame US gun control laws..." "Why wasn't the campus locked down? They have blood on their hands..." And all the Koreans personally apologising for the actions of a guy who hasn't been to their country in something like 15 years.

Why can't it just be a tragedy? Why does everyone need a scapegoat? Because if you do need one, he turned the gun on himself in the end.

When I was young, I watched a lot of movies and TV shows where there was some evil bad guy mastermind. And whenever one of his underlings failed, he would execute them as a warning to the others. It was a great way to show that these guys were plain bad. Are we becoming like this?

maybe it is BECAUSE he killed himself that people are looking for a scapegoat. It's hard to accept that this man punished himself - people often want more.

I think the focus should be on helping the victims at this point.

Actually, yes. My government sucks, and I apologise to anybody who had been put out by actions they have taken that I disagree with.

All Norwegians know about the Tampa incident, and I have apologized to every one of them I have met.

Ok, you don't like your government, but did you directly hurt a Norwegan? Did you pull a trigger? Did you make a bomb? If you apologise for someone elses actions your only setting yourself up to be either revenged upon or guilt....Take responsibility for yourself and only say sorry for yourself...don't try to mend someones feelings for something you didn't do.

There are people here that are blaming America, telling Koerans to go screw themselves...how f-d up is that?

Maybe CC is right, maybe since this kid off-d himself, people look for blame. But the fact is this, one person did it (so we know of at this point) and that person is the only one who pulled the trigger and masterminded it . Do you expect an apology from every Saudi you meet b/c of 911?
