This is my friend's brightest student. Hopefully I'll have pictures of mine in two weeks to beat this one....

Poor kid..

It would be hard to argue that posting students' pictures online without their adult guardians' consent is ethical.

Really, what about the photos you take on the street that include kids? Do you go run around and get consent? All your tourism photos, I bet every one of those people that happen to be in the picture gave full permission?

Get a grip, It's not that big of a deal. I'm all for bright students. I'm sure your laughing at all the teeshirt threads with funny and humiliating statements.

Don't be a hypocrite.

A quick scroll of your posts shows you have a thread where you downloaded and illegal software hack to sustain your not so legal copy of Windows. Probably the same software you used to post your ethical remark.

Ethics. My friend. Ethics. That said I'll buy you a beer if we ever meet.

Given the nature of the ex post facto analysis I agree it was a bit crappy of me to post this picture and have removed it.

You're not breaching any duty of care by taking pictures of kids on the street. You and your friend are teachers, and you're supposed to be looking out for the education and general well being of your students.

Removing the photo was a good move.

And if faster gets a beer, I want a beer...
