Economy M-Bags, which cost $17.60 for an 11-lbs package, will be disappearing soon. If you need books sent from the US, do so now! Economy Parcel Post is the next cheapest, at $31.00 for an 11-lbs package. But it looks like that's getting eliminated as well. My best guess is that the cheapest alternative will be the airmail parcel post, at $63.75 for an 11-lbs package.
I don't know if WTB uses M-Bags to receive shipments, but if they do, prices are going to be going up, up, up.

What international products are eliminated?
The product simplification eliminates Economy (surface) products including economy Parcel Post, economy Letter Post, Publishers Periodicals, Books and Sheet Music, and economy M-bags. All these services will have comparable air product offering alternatives. In addition, Aerogrammes and Recorded Delivery service will be eliminated. First-Class Mail International letters and cards are alternatives to Aerogrammes and Registered Mail is an alternative for Recorded Delivery. |
