Superfly,

One year (I can't remember which one) I sent my mom a nice Korean tea set with some green tea. We packaged it up very carefully. I had my doubts it would make it there without breaking, but it did.

Jade necklace/pendant/or whatever.

All my female relatives love that green stuff. It's uncommon and pretty expensive back home.

When is mother's day? I've been here too long. All these western holidays elude my grasp.

A good long phonecall and tell her how great a Mum she has been. The best present the mother of an ex-pat could get.

Bump

Went to Myong dong on Saturday. There's a Kosney store there. Bought her a cool jade necklace and matching earrings. Also got her a cool passport cover/holder. I shipped over a whole box full of greeting cards because I remembered that Korea didn't have any ten years ago. Well they do now...at Kosney. I heard there are several Kosney stores around the Seoul area.

Question: Does the UK and Australia/New Zealand have mothers day on the 13th?
