Just curious where the nicest place to teach in Seoul was. Not too rowdy and relatively quiet. Or does that not exist? I'm thinking in a city of 12 mil, that's probably far fetched but I thought even bigger cities have quieter places to. |

Northern Seoul near the mountains may be what you are looking for. Everything is city in Seoul, but you'll be near a forest escape. |

If you can get yourself on any hilltop areas in Seoul with a rooftop apartment, you can get some decent views and nice sunsets (weather permitting)
2 areas that I didn't enjoy living in are:
Sindorim (non-descript boredom)
Jongro (constant traffic, dirty air and noise from bars)
My personal favorite right in the center:
Mallidong, Yongsan area (character, convenience of facilities, view of Namsan) |
